John is a Global Vice President and leads the Global Cloud Channel and strategy team. John brings over twenty years of experience to the SAP channel business. John has been with SAP since 2003 after successfully fulfilling marketing roles with Compaq, Digital Equipment Corporation and Monster.com. He brings a unique blend of technology manufacturer and marketing agency background to his position. John champions the customer and the partner when creating and driving initiatives.

John joined SAP to lead the early stages of demand generation for the SAP channel business. From there, John led the rapid growth of the SAP reselling ecosystem globally by increasing the channel partner count from 500 to 3000, in addition to developing and launching a formalized partner to partner framework that grew an extended ecosystem of 2,000. In 2013, John signed up as the COO for the Indirect Channel business, which accounts for 1BEuros of revenue. John took over the Global Platinum Reseller program in 2014 and grew this business to represent 25% of SAP’s total indirect revenue. Today, John leads the Global Cloud Channels business for SAP and is always looking for new ways to drive partner profitability in the Cloud.

John thrives on new challenges designed to accelerate business, simplify the complex and allows for both strategic and tactical action.

In addition to work, John has been actively fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis for the past 12 years, and as an active fisherman is an Executive Officer of a community-based fishing organization, Maddies Anglers in Marblehead, MA. Additionally, John volunteers time to support KIPP Academy, Rosie’s Place and My Brothers Table in Lynn, MA.

John has an MBA from Boston University and a BA from the University of Richmond, where he majored in Economics.
