John brings over twenty years of experience to the SAP channel business. John has been with SAP since 2003 after successfully fulfilling marketing roles with Compaq, Digital Equipment Corporation and Monster.com. A unique blend of technology manufacturer and marketing agency background provides for a strategic perspective of the SAP indirect channel business.
John joined SAP to lead the early stages of demand generation for the SAP channel business. From there, John led the rapid growth of the SAP reselling ecosystem globally by increasing the channel partner count from 500 to 3000, in addition to developing and launching a formalized partner to partner framework that grew an extended ecosystem of 2,000. In 2013, John signed up as the COO for the Indirect Channel business, which accounts for 1BEuros of revenue. John took over the Global Platinum Reseller program in 2014 and grew this business to represent 25% of SAP’s total indirect revenue. Today, John leads the Global Cloud Channels business for SAP and is always looking for new ways to engage more partners in the Cloud.
John thrives on new challenges designed to accelerate business, simplify the complex and allows for both strategic and tactical action.
John has an MBA from Boston University and a BA from the University of Richmond, where he majored in Economics.
